This summer I’m trying to get everything organized and covered it for my maternity leave which begins in August (or late July depending on when baby decides to make his entrance into the outside world).

Summer brings a time with friends, teaching a summer class, a conference, vacation, and lots of planning for the next school year. Can’t wait to see what’s in the forthcoming Clergy Crate!

This summer brings partnering with a camp to bring VBS back to the congregation after many years hiatus. As well as continuing ed, worship planning, and hopefully some exploring of the nature in this new place I am in.

Two weeks of Vacation Bible School, going to our denomination’s national gathering with the youth from our conference – UCC General Synod – in Baltimore, heading to Vancouver Canada for the YCWPC, and then a mission trip to the Heifer Farm in Massacusetts. It’s definitely a busy summer. Hopefully in August I’ll actually get to vacation with my husband!

Summer will include 2 weeks of Annual Conference (UMC – I’m “on loan”), VBS, and I’m still thinking about a class or two – perhaps discussing a couple of novels throughout the summer?
